DESCRIPTION:Illuminate is a new bible study group at East Redland Anglican lead by The Rev. Cameron Freese. \nWe are currently engaging in a Study on how our Celtic past can help us today in refreshing our communities and renewing our mission. \nPlease join us the 2nd and 4th Thursday’s of the month at 6pm at St Paul’s Cleveland. \nIn our post-pandemic world\, the need for vibrant and welcoming Christian communities has never been stronger. This new filmed course is a timely resource drawing on the immense wisdom and inspiration from our Celtic spiritual heritage helping us to find renewed faith and vision together. These stand-alone sessions include beautiful on-location filming from Lindisfarne\, Iona and St David’s. Presented by David Payne (CaFE) with in-depth interviews from Celtic experts such as Canon Michael Mitton (Derby)\, Dr Carmody Grey (Durham) and Ronan & Joanne Johnston (Dublin). Cameron Freese. \nWe are currently engaging in a Study on the ministry of Blessing and how we might be able to develop ministry in this area through the Local Houses of Prayer Network. \nPlease join us the 2nd and 4th Thursday’s of the month at 6pm at St Paul’s Cleveland. \nThe Blessings Course (the original Ffald y Brenin Version) is a 7-session course where understanding and experience flourish together. Working in a group session enables you to learn better\, laugh together and rejoice together\, practice together\, making friends and deepening fellowship. It is preferably run weekly\, but fortnightly is possible. \nThe Blessings Course is intensely practical. Key Subjects include: \nTHE GOD WHO BLESSES/ Grasping the goodness of God \nBEING BLESSED/ Our Personal Discovery of Foundational Truth \nCALLED TO BLESS/ The Priestly Role of Every Christian \nBLESSING/ The Person in Front of Me \nBLESSING/ The Land \nBLESSING/ Areas\, Regions\, Nations \nBLESSING/ A New Life and a New Community \nBy the end of the course you should expect to be more confident in your personal relationship with the Lord; enjoying the experience of his blessing on your life; and effective at blessing others through words as well as deeds.

We will be showing the movie\, “Walking the Camino: Six Ways to Santiago” as we start to delve more deeply into the idea of pilgrimage and what that means as we journey forward together. \nWalking the Camino: Six Ways to Santiago is a 2013 documentary film about the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage. It follows different kinds of pilgrims as they attempt to cross Spain on foot with only the essentials and how it changes the lives of the pilgrims. It focuses on how pilgrims throw their whole selves into the trek to Santiago as well as their spiritual experience.
