Mainly MusicMainly Music

Children will be introduced to music, creativity and more, plus families are given the chance to think about God in their life. Amazing to think that all this can be achieved in a loving, shared family environment! Throughout the morning, children develop gross motor skills, language, imagination, maths and pre-reading skills, as well as learning to socialise with others. We start with a lively thirty-minute music session, followed by morning tea for the children. Team members then supervise them in a fun play time, while adults share morning tea and a chat, happy that their children are in a safe, caring environment.

Anglican Parish’s mainly music groups are currently held from:

  • Currently on hold during 2021 due to COVID-19

Messy PlaytimeMessy Playtime

  • Children from birth to pre-school age
  • When: Tuesday Mornings
  • 9.30am – 11.30am
  • Where: All Saints, Redland Bay

Messy Playtime is for young children in our community. The program was introduced for young children with their carers to experience social play and interaction with one another, as well as a base for families to think about God in their lives.

The Program

The program consists of an hour playtime, designed to be creative and fun. A child will learn to further develop their fine and gross motor skills, language and imagination abilities, as well as promote socialisation competences. The sessions are for children aged from birth to school age. After playtime the children move into the church for morning tea and story time.

East Redland Anglican is committed to the protection of all children and vulnerable people. Our community adheres to the Child Protection and Professional Standards Policies of the Anglican Church Southern Queensland. A copy of these policies can be found on the Diocesan website here.
